- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We got our dog over a year and a half ago from Chatham county. It was an easy, streamlined process. She was fixed and given a rabies shot. She has been a great dog and if we ever decide to adopt again we will be using this shelter.By shaun dobbs, January 08, 2017
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆After calling them at 4:50 to see if I could bring in an injured cat I found on the side of the road, I was told no they were closing soon. So I called to have an officer come out to get the cat so he would at least no longer be suffering. Waited at least an hour, no one showed up. When I finally met an officer at Animal Control, I told him I would call the next morning to find out about the status of the cat. I called the next day and was told "we don't keep track of animals brought in after hours by officers, especially black cats". I understand they have a lot of animals to process and look after, but when I do the right thing and bring them an injured animal, I should be able to find out what ultimately happened to that animal.By Jacki K., November 10, 2016
